In its third consecutive year, the Black Women Photographers x Nikon Grants are currently accepting applications, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to vie for a share of $50,000 in project-based and business grants, alongside the latest Nikon mirrorless Z series equipment.
The application timeline spans from January 17, 2024, to February 17, 2024, with the closing time set at 11:59 pm EST. Successful applicants will be notified by March 2024.
The breakdown of the $50,000 grants is as follows:
One $10,000 grant per recipient, intended to support the completion of a visual project.
Five $5,000 grants per recipient, also designated for the fulfillment of visual projects.
Five $3,000 grants per recipient, aimed at alleviating the financial burden of business expenses.
Additionally, the Nikon gear offerings include:
One set comprising a Z 8 camera, along with 24-70mm f/2.8 and 85mm f/1.8 lenses.
Another set featuring a Z 7II camera paired with 28-75mm f/2.8 lenses.
A third set consisting of a Z 6II camera with 28-75mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/1.8 lenses.
A Z fc camera with a 16-50mm Lens Kit.
Lastly, a Z 30 camera with a One Lens Kit.
