Black Box Gallery is excited to announce a juried group photography exhibition centred on two of nature’s most evocative and essential elements: Trees and Water. Timeless yet endlessly evolving, these subjects form the foundation of a dynamic and visually rich exhibition that reflects the diversity of contemporary photographic practice.
Water is movement, reflection, and transformation. It may appear as vast oceans or quiet lakes, flowing rivers or frozen snow, falling rain, drifting mist, or crashing waves. Each form carries its own emotional resonance and visual language. Trees, in contrast and harmony, offer structure, presence, and endurance. They shape the landscape, define space, and provide a powerful compositional framework through which light, time, and atmosphere unfold.
This exhibition invites photographers to explore how these two forces intersect, contrast, and coexist. The show will highlight artists who approach trees and water as subjects of observation, metaphor, and imagination—revealing moments that are serene, dramatic, abstract, or deeply personal.
There is generous space within this theme for poetic interpretation and creative experimentation. From minimal and contemplative images to expressive and imaginative compositions, photographers are encouraged to explore new techniques and visual ideas. Black Box Gallery looks forward to hosting an engaging and inspired exhibition that celebrates the magic, depth, and expressive potential of contemporary photography.
