Black Box Gallery is thrilled to present a juried group exhibition featuring contemporary color photography. This vibrant medium showcases a diverse range of subjects, from landscapes and portraits to fashion, architecture, street scenes, and abstract works. Photographers explore the use of color to shape composition, evoke emotion, and tell compelling visual stories. The exhibit will highlight how color is used to stylize and elevate various genres of modern photography.
Juror: Todd JohnsonTodd Johnson, founder and director of Black Box Gallery, holds an MFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. With 25 years of experience in arts education and curation, he has served as a portfolio reviewer for prominent organizations such as Photolucida and Critical Mass, and has curated exhibitions across the U.S., including venues in Oregon, California, Minnesota, and beyond. His own photography has been exhibited nationally, from Portland, OR, to Brooklyn, NY.
