Black Box Gallery is excited to announce a new juried group photography exhibition dedicated to the art of black and white photography. This exhibition will celebrate the unique visual language of monochrome imagery and invite photographers to share their interpretations of a medium that has played a central role in the history of photography.
Black and white photography possesses a distinctive ability to evoke atmosphere, emotion, and timelessness. Without the presence of color, images often take on a classic and sometimes nostalgic character, while still maintaining a strong sense of visual energy and depth. Through the careful use of contrast, light, and composition, photographers can create luminous and expressive images that highlight the essential elements of photographic storytelling.
