If you are an artist who creates work in a representational style and primarily uses photography as your medium—whether through traditional film-based methods or modern digital techniques—you are invited to submit your work for consideration in the Photography Award category. This opportunity is open to those who work in any photographic format, provided the final piece remains true to the fundamental aspects of photography.

We recognize that the boundaries between photography and digital art have increasingly overlapped due to advancements in technology. If your artistic process involves significant digital alterations beyond standard photographic techniques—such as the introduction of entirely new backgrounds, the addition of elements not present in the original scene, heavy digital painting applied over the photograph, or other substantial digital manipulations—your work would be more appropriately submitted under the Digital Art Award category. However, if your use of digital tools is limited to minor post-processing adjustments, such as color correction, exposure balancing, or slight retouching, then your piece still qualifies for entry in the Photography Award category.
