Invitation to Participate in the III Barcelona International Human Rights and Global Justice Photography Award
A Rewarding Opportunity: The III Barcelona International Human Rights and Global Justice Photography Award invites photographers from all walks of life, both professionals and amateurs, of legal age, and regardless of nationality, to share their vision with the world. Ten exceptional projects, carefully chosen by our esteemed jury, will grace the streets of Barcelona in an awe-inspiring exhibition during the festival. Additionally, these selected projects will become an integral part of the 2023 edition catalog. To recognize and honor the best among these ten projects, we are pleased to offer a substantial prize of 3,000 euros.
About Más Retina: This prestigious award is proudly organized by Más Retina, a dedicated organization championing the realms of journalism and the visual arts. Our mission is to advocate for human rights and global justice, all through the transformative lens of gender perspectives.
Submission Details: We cordially invite photographers worldwide to submit their work, which should encompass a wide spectrum of themes associated with Human Rights and Global Justice. We highly encourage the inclusion of the gender perspective, exploration of climate justice matters, scrutiny of migration issues, contemplation of the right to housing, and, more broadly, alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 agenda. We seek projects that unravel the intricate global development model, shed light on the interdependent relationships between nations and actors, and delve into the root causes of conflicts and inequalities.
