We are searching for that one exceptional image—the photograph that immediately captures attention, sparks curiosity, and leaves a lasting impression. Whether it tells a compelling story, evokes powerful emotion, or demonstrates remarkable technical and artistic skill, we are interested in images that stand out through their originality and visual impact.

Created as our most accessible international open call, the 2026 Autumn Edition offers photographers from around the world a unique opportunity to present their work within Berlin's contemporary art community. The competition is open to photographers working across all genres and styles, welcoming both emerging talents and established professionals who wish to share their creative vision with a wider audience.

A carefully selected Shortlist of 20 images will be professionally printed, framed, and exhibited on the walls of the BBA Gallery as part of the official exhibition. All exhibition production costs, including printing and presentation, will be fully covered by us, allowing photographers to focus entirely on their work without additional financial commitment.

In addition, a Longlist of 50 images will be presented on a large digital display within the gallery, ensuring that even more outstanding submissions receive public exposure throughout the exhibition. Together, the physical exhibition and digital presentation will showcase a diverse collection of contemporary photography to visitors from around the world.
