The BBA One Shot Award Autumn Edition is focused on the power of a single, definitive photograph — an image capable of capturing attention, creating an immediate impression, and standing independently as a complete artistic statement. Designed as an accessible international open call, the award provides photographers with an opportunity to present their work within the Berlin art scene, regardless of their level of experience or established position within the industry.

During the last week of October, BBA Gallery will host a full-space joint exhibition featuring selected works from both the Summer and Autumn editions of the BBA One Shot Award. Photographers participating in the Autumn Edition therefore have the opportunity to have their work presented in Berlin within only a few weeks of submission.

A shortlist of 20 images will be professionally printed and exhibited on the gallery walls, with 100% of the associated production costs covered by BBA Gallery. In addition, a longlist of 50 images will be presented on a large digital display within the exhibition space.

The exhibition will bring together a broad selection of photographic approaches and perspectives, creating an opportunity for selected artists to present their work to an international audience that includes collectors, curators, art professionals, photographers, and gallery visitors.
