Eligibility for this photography competition is intentionally broad, reflecting our commitment to fostering creativity across all experience levels. Amateur photographers who capture striking images for the love of the art, students currently engaged in formal photographic studies, and professional photographers whose livelihood depends on their craft are all equally invited to enter.

The contest is not restricted by nationality or place of residence. Both Australian and non‑Australian photographers may submit their work, and the organisers reserve the right to allocate special prize pools or commendations that separately acknowledge excellence among domestic and international submissions.

Upon completing the entry form, each participant must supply a verifiable residential address. For classification purposes, an “Australian” entrant is defined as an individual whose usual place of residence is within Australia. All other participants will be designated as “International” entrants. This residency‑based definition ensures transparent categorisation and allows judges to apply consistent criteria when evaluating work across different geographic groups.
