The International Nature Photography Competition & Exhibition brings together photographers from around the world to celebrate the power and beauty of nature through the lens. From striking images of wildlife and plant life to breathtaking landscapes and thought-provoking conservation stories, the competition highlights the many ways photography can deepen our connection to the natural environment.
Photographs selected for exhibition will be showcased in a professionally curated gallery event at the Arcadian Gallery in Cumberland, Maryland. Nestled in the heart of the central Appalachians, Cumberland is quickly gaining recognition as a vibrant arts destination. Its location makes it easily accessible from cities like Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, creating an exciting opportunity for wide public engagement.
Participants will compete for a total of $5,000 in awards, celebrating both artistic excellence and meaningful storytelling. In addition, the winner of the Conservation Storytelling category will have the opportunity to direct a $500 donation to a conservation organization of their choice, extending the impact of their work beyond the gallery walls.
This exhibition is rooted in a strong commitment to conservation. To further support environmental efforts, 10% of the Arcadian Gallery’s commission from all exhibition sales will be donated to a conservation organization selected by the juror. In this way, every purchase contributes directly to protecting the natural world that inspires these powerful images.
