Show us how you interpret the world when it’s stripped down to its purest visual elements—light, texture, shape, and shadow. These are the building blocks of abstraction, the tools through which photographers distill reality into compelling visual poetry.

Shape and form are powerful components of visual language. They allow us to reimagine our surroundings and challenge perception. From bold architectural lines to the subtle silhouette of a human figure, shapes can transform the familiar into the surreal, the mundane into the magnificent.

For this edition of AAP Magazine, we're seeking submissions where shape isn’t just present in your composition—it is the composition. We want to see work where shape becomes the story, where it commands attention and sparks curiosity.

All genres are welcome—architecture, portrait, landscape, nude, street, conceptual, experimental—as long as your project presents a clear and compelling exploration of form. We’re looking for photographers with a unique voice, bold vision, and a cohesive series that reveals something new through shape-driven imagery.

Send us a unified portfolio or series of images that belong together in mood, concept, or subject. Please keep in mind that only complete bodies of work will be eligible for publication, and we do not accept previously published images from past issues of AAP Magazine.n.
