We invite you to explore the world of abstraction through the essential elements of light, texture, shape, and shadow. These fundamental visual tools form the basis of photography and can transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Shape and form lie at the heart of strong photographic composition. When thoughtfully framed, even the simplest subjects—an object on a table, the curve of a building, a shadow on a wall—can become captivating visual statements. Geometric or organic, positive or negative, subtle or bold—shapes define how we perceive balance, harmony, and beauty within an image.

For this open call, we are seeking your most compelling photographs where shape is not merely a compositional element, but the central subject itself. Let shape speak louder than content. Let it be the force that draws the viewer in.

Whether your work falls within architecture, portraiture, landscape, nudes, street photography, or any other classic or experimental genre, we want to see how shape leads your visual storytelling. We welcome submissions from across the globe and are excited to discover projects that push boundaries and challenge visual norms.
