Hey photographers! AAP Magazine is back with Issue #48, and this time the theme is “Portrait.” We’re on the hunt for images that go beyond the surface — portraits that really let us feel something. Whether it’s a formal studio setup or a quick selfie taken on the fly, we believe the best portraits give us a peek into someone’s soul. They cross boundaries, tell stories, and connect us to people we may never meet in real life.

We’re inviting you to send us your most powerful portraits — the ones that celebrate what it means to be human. Think diversity, emotion, self-expression, creativity, and everything in between. We love it all: traditional studio shots, unfiltered street portraits, wild conceptual work, moody fine art images, or your latest experiment with self-portraiture.

With over 7.5 billion people in the world, there's no shortage of faces to photograph. Show us the ones that mean something to you. Surprise us, move us, challenge us.

We welcome all styles and technical approaches — color or black & white, analog or digital, straightforward or experimental. Don’t be afraid to play with editing or push your post-production limits. As long as your portrait has impact, we want to see it.

Photos will be judged based on creativity, originality, and how much they grab us emotionally or visually. Winners will be featured on the All About Photo website and shared across our social media platforms. Get your work out there — we can't wait to see what you create!
