For its 54th printed issue, AAP Magazine proudly presents a new call for entries dedicated to one of photography’s most enduring and evocative subjects: Nature. This special issue will celebrate photographers who reveal the magnificence of our planet through their lenses—artists who observe, interpret, and honor the living world in all its forms.

Nature photography remains one of the most diverse and captivating genres in the medium. It encompasses the vastness of landscapes, the vitality of wildlife, and the delicate intricacies of flora and fauna. Whether depicting the quiet poetry of morning light over a valley, the raw energy of animals in motion, or the minute textures of petals and leaves, each image tells a story of harmony, transformation, and interdependence.

Landscape photographers capture the grandeur of the earth—its rolling hills, towering peaks, serene lakes, dramatic coastlines, and even forgotten man-made ruins reclaimed by nature. Wildlife photographers venture into habitats across continents, chronicling the grace, power, and vulnerability of animal life. Flora and fauna photography invites us closer still, to see the unseen—the intricate designs of plants, the brilliance of colors, and the rhythm of living growth.

Through these visual narratives, photographers illuminate the beauty and fragility of our environment, inspiring viewers to reconnect with and protect the world that sustains us.

We invite you to submit a cohesive body of work—a unified portfolio of images exploring your vision of nature. Only complete, thematic portfolios will be considered. Previously published works in AAP Magazine are ineligible.

Awards & Publication:

• 1st Place: $500 USD, interview, publication in AAP Magazine Vol. 54: Nature, free copy, and feature in the Winners Gallery.

• 2nd Place: $300 USD, publication, free copy, and online feature.

• 3rd Place: $200 USD, publication, free copy, and online feature.

• 17 Merit Mentions: publication in AAP Magazine Vol. 54.
