Life is nothing short of a vibrant river of color—ever-flowing, ever-changing. From the warmth of crimson reds to the calm of ocean blues, the joy of bright yellows to the countless gradients formed by their intersections, color surrounds us in both subtle and dramatic ways. Even in the stark contrasts of black and white, there lies a narrative shaped by the presence—or absence—of color. It’s woven into the fabric of our surroundings, our emotions, our stories.

We invite photographers from around the world to immerse themselves in this chromatic exploration and submit their images for consideration. We are especially interested in cohesive bodies of work—portfolios that reveal a clear vision, a consistent approach, and a deep engagement with color as either a central subject or a powerful compositional force. Whether color is your message or your medium, we want to see how you use it to shape your visual storytelling.

This open call welcomes every genre of color photography, including but not limited to: photojournalism, street photography, portraits, fashion, urban exploration, nature and wildlife, nude studies, fine art, documentary, and experimental work. If color plays a vital role in your photographic practice—either emotionally, symbolically, or structurally—this contest is for you.

Selected winners will receive $1,000 in cash prizes, a prestigious feature in AAP Magazine #51, international press exposure, and the opportunity to gain global recognition for their color-rich visual narratives.
