Photographers with established experience, as well as those in the early stages of developing their craft, are invited to participate in the 2026 AKC Photo Contest. This year’s theme, “The Great Outdoors,” encourages submissions that capture the beauty, diversity, and spirit of natural environments. Entries will be evaluated exclusively on the basis of creativity, technical quality, and originality, ensuring a fair and merit-based selection process. The highest-ranking submissions will be awarded cash prizes, recognizing excellence across different levels of photographic practice. The 2026 AKC Photo Contest officially opens on April 27, 2026. All entries must be submitted either via email or by post, with a final deadline marked by a postmark no later than October 31, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
