The panel of judges for the Memorial Maria Luisa will be appointed by the Founders Board, drawing from a distinguished group of mountain and nature photographers of recognized international prestige. Their deliberations will be definitive, and the panel will also be responsible for resolving any disputes, complaints, or unforeseen circumstances that may arise throughout the competition. To ensure fairness and impartiality, all works submitted will be evaluated anonymously. Each entry is automatically assigned an alphanumeric code by the contest’s computer system upon submission, allowing judges to assess every photograph or video on its artistic and technical merits alone, without knowledge of the creator’s identity.
