About:
The call was created in 2017 to deepen the links of Instituto Moreira Salles with contemporary photography production focused on the publishing world. We want to know, exhibit and promote photobooks, as well as strengthen our relationships with photographers, producers, publishers, designers and the public.
Books published from November 2021 onwards will be accepted in this edition . Registration is free of charge and is open to participants of any nationality.
Publications will be evaluated by the ZUM team and the IMS Photography Library. Each selected will receive the amount of R$ 300 as a subsistence allowance.
The chosen books will be shown during the ZUM Festival, in December 2022, in an exhibition that may remain later, for a duration to be defined.
During the festival, a commission formed by external guests and members of the IMS will award the 3 best books and each one will receive, in total, R$ 2,000.
