World Pinhole Photography Day - Open Call

World pinhole photography day: April 24, 2022

Based on the concept of camera obscura, pinhole photography is one of the most basic and

simplest forms of photography. Using the basic concept of a camera, a light-proof box without a lens with just a very small aperture (the pinhole), amazing images can be captured.

With world pinhole photography day being on 24th April 2022, we decided for the month of April into May we are going to have an online exhibition displaying your pinhole photography. The images can

either be on film, photographic paper or digital, and the subject of the images can be anything of

your choosing. Solargraphy/Solarigraphy images will also be accepted. We have teamed up with Analogue Wonderland who will give an award in the form of some analogue photography goodies away to the best image. This is a competition and the best pinhole photography images will be selected and exhibited on our website for a month. Submissions need to be submitted digitally. Submissions close 14th April 2022
