The competition will feature a theme, announced in advance. Awards can be won for three  photographic entries, each entry comprising between six and twelve photographs in a  specific category; the winners (first, second and third places) will be determined by a jury.  In addition, the organiser is inviting submissions for a Best Young Talent (Nachwuchspreis) which will also be determined by the jury
