About:
The deadline for submissions is now open for the second edition of the "Twin Gallery Competition," an international contemporary art competition open to all artistically inclined individuals, regardless of nationality, age, or background. As a new development, one of the winning works will be exhibited at the Estampa fair, at the Twin Gallery stand. Entries will be open until October 1, 2025. Eligible formats: painting, drawing, urban art, sculpture, installation, photography, video art, digital art, NFTs, and more. The theme, technique, and artistic tendency are optional. Prizes: - Acquisition of a work for the Twin Gallery collection. - Participation in two group exhibitions with the best works submitted to the competition: one at the physical gallery (Calle San Hermenegildo 28, Madrid) and another at Twin Gallery's virtual space in the Metaverse (plot 31.79 of Decentraland). - Exhibition of a work at the Estampa fair (from October 9 to 12 at IFEMA). The selection of authors and works will be made public one week after the judging process. This international contemporary art competition was born from the gallery's commitment to discovering new talent and providing an opportunity for all artists, whether or not they are currently in the art world, to showcase their work, launch a professional career, gain visibility, and obtain recognition. Last year's competition featured 82 participants, of whom fourteen showed a work in a group exhibition at the gallery: Btar (piece acquired from a private collection), Kiro Morales, Lydia Gordillo, Amaya Hernández, Jacinto de Manuel (piece acquired from a private collection and who will also exhibit in a solo exhibition during the 2025-26 season at Twin Gallery), Verónica Silva, Saray Bachiller, Daniel Jordán (Twin Gallery Acquisition Award), Efraim Ortega, Kim Martín (piece acquired from a private collection), Irene Villalva (piece acquired from a private collection), Sofía Arreciado Rivero, María Eugenia Diego, and Miguel Platero, who also won the Twin Gallery Marbella Design & Art Award.
