Tomar la Calle Fotofest - Photography Exhibition “Somos Calle”

Tomar la Calle FotoFest is the first festival in Mexico dedicated to street photography with a focus on the Ibero-American perspective. Held in the vibrant city of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, this festival seeks to highlight the stories, perspectives and experiences that emerge from our streets, connecting photographers, collectives and the general public through a unique celebration.

With in-person and online events, Tomar la Calle FotoFest offers a comprehensive experience that includes exhibitions, workshops, discussions, film screenings, art bazaars, and photo walks. This mix of activities allows local, national, and international participants to be part of the movement that redefines street photography, the photography of everyday life from an Ibero-American perspective.
