The Ronan Guillou Scholarships

The Ronan Guillou Scholarships are launched within the framework of the CIVIS MARITIMUS program which proposes to explore the relationship of Man to the Sea to shake up essential issues facing the Ocean.

European photographers and photographers from the southern shores of the Mediterranean, you have a project associating Man and the marine world, apply for the 1st edition of the Ronan Guillou Scholarships!

In 2023, on the occasion of Montpellier 2028 – European Capital of Culture, in partnership with the ImageSingulières festival (Sète) and the Photographic Meetings Face à la Mer (Tangier), two photographic creation grants are offered to European photographers and the southern shore of the Mediterranean.

From the same territory, for this first edition the Occitanie region, two photographers will each carry out a committed photographic project, the results of which will be shared during events in Sète (October 2023) and Tangier (November 2023).

Each photographer will benefit from an endowment of €4,000 and accommodation in Sète for a period of one month from May 18 to June 18, 2023 to carry out their project, with final delivery of the elements expected no later than July 31, 2023 .
