The Ludington Area Center for the Arts - "Artists as Catalysts for Social Change" Open Call

Art is a powerful means for bringing awareness, sparking conversation and accelerating changes in culture and society.   We are looking to your visual voices to provide a new perspective, shatter stereotypes, highlight the invisible, increase awareness, promote social justice, ignite discourse, and inspire activism. This is an opportunity to use your ART speak out on an issue close to your own heart.

This in person, juried exhibit will feature 2D and 3D works that demonstrate the power of visual artists to be a force for Social Change.  Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Collage, Textile, Glass, Photography, Sculpture, Video and Installation Art are all open for consideration.

Selected works will be exhibited in person at the beautiful LACA Gallery in Ludington and promoted on line on our Facebook page. Artwork does not need to be for sale. See the long description for more details.

Exhibit dates are October 3, 2025 – October 31, 2025. Deadline for Submission of Entries is Sunday, August 31, 2025. Invitees will be notified by Friday September 5, 2025.  Artwork must arrive at our Gallery no later than Saturday, September 27, 2025. The Artist is responsible for shipping Items to and from our gallery in Ludington, MI.
