This year, the Blende photo competition once again offers a wide range of topics with four new competition themes – Character Heads, Fascination with the Forest, Macro Photography and Creative Reflections. For 2022 we have also come up with something very special! As the first photo competition in Germany, Blende will have the entries evaluated by a top-class expert jury with the help of artificial intelligence. In addition, the Pattern Recognition Company GmbH with its Excire technology could be won as a partner. All images submitted in the four main categories can also take part in the "Special Prize KI by Excire".
The submissions must come from the current calendar year, i.e. the admission date may only be in the year 2022. Please do not submit older posts. Also, no photos will be accepted that have already taken part in other competitions. We will carry out spot checks on a regular basis.
After the end of the first stage, the Blende team will receive the lists of winners and possible suggestions for the national finals. We will print out these images in 20×30 cm and present them to an independent expert jury consisting of high-ranking industry and media representatives at the beginning of March 2023. The jury selects the 100 best competition entries.
