Phi Photo Awards is an international photography competition established by Bayt Visual, a visual-arts organisation based in Dubai, UAE. Taking its name from Phi (ϕ), the golden ratio, the awards recognize images where craft, composition and vision come together at a high level. The competition is open to all photographic approaches – from advertising and editorial work to fine art, nature and personal projects – and is designed for photographers who want their work to be judged seriously and presented in a professional context.

Selected entries are showcased in an international virtual exhibition and considered for inclusion in the Phi Photography Annual, a hardcover book produced to gallery standards and circulated to industry professionals. An experienced international panel of judges reviews all submissions anonymously, using clear criteria to identify work of lasting strength and quality.
