Midwest Center for Photography - International Fellowship Competition

The 2024 INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY FELLOWSHIP COMPETITON - DEVELOPED WORK exhibition will feature current and relevant work of international photographers that help define the pulse of contemporary photography in the world. "Developed Work" has become established as the premier exhibition at MWCP for featuring some of the most important creative photographic work of the year.

Competition for "Developed Work" is based upon a thematically developed body of work. Selected photographers will demonstrate successful representation of working with a concept and developing it into a solid framework resulting in a thematically developed body of photographic work.

Artists must submit a brief artist statement outlining the intentions of the work. Selection will be considered from the cohesive body of work submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images.

This year we are again extending the outreach for this call for entry to international audiences. The competition is open to all photographers worldwide, and open to all photographic genre and subject matter.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. One fellowship recipient will receive the $200 Developed Work Fellowship Award and one year artist representation at MWCP online.
