The art prize of the Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler Memorial Foundation in Rockenhausen (Palatinate) will be awarded in 2022 for works on paper.
Graduates from an art college or art academy, members of a professional association of visual artists who have completed training at an art school, have exhibition or publication practice or are continuously involved in visual design are eligible to participate.
In the first step, photographs of a maximum of 3 works by the artists are to be submitted, the quality of which allows an assessment of the works shown. Photos, conventionally on paper, including the passepartout, may not exceed 24 x 30 cm. If 3 works are submitted, the jury can make a selection for each. Digital media will not be accepted.
The original dimensions of the works must be specified. Multi-part works must not exceed 200 x 200 cm each.
The deadline for submitting the photographs for the first round of judging is September 1st, 2022. For the second judging, then the originals, the submission period is set for November 1st to 4th, 2022.
