Internationale Photoszene Köln - Thousandfold Photobook Fair

Independent Photobook publishers and self-publishing photographers are welcome to apply for a booth for the Thousandfold Photobook Fair @ Photoszene-Festival Cologne. Application Deadline February 20! The Photoszene-Festival of Photography 2023 will take place from 12 to 21 May at numerous locations in Cologne, attracting every year up to 100.000 visitors every year. For the first time, the festival is organising an international photobook market together with the Thousandfold Photobook Fair on the opening weekend (13 - 14 May) at the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum.  The Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum will be the festival centre in the heart of the city and will host the ­exhibition of South African artist Lebohang Kganye. On another level of the building, more than 40 international photography students will show highly topical perspectives of a multi-voiced present in over 40 photobooks under the title „First Pages" as part of the exhibition series „Counter Images".  On the opening weekend of the festival, there is an extensive supporting programme consisting of a symposium, portfolio review, guided tour programme, artist talks and the Thousandfold Photobook Fair.
