Since 2013, the Taurus Foundation has been supporting the arts and sciences in Switzerland and abroad. It
highlights the work of artists and scientists whose work stands out for its originality. Every two years, the Taurus
Prize for the Visual Arts is awarded to a contemporary video artist, photographer or visual artist, enabling them
to develop a new project over two years. In the scientific field, the Foundation supports projects and publications
in paleoanthropology and prehistory.
