FREE ENTRY / Villa Pérochon - Young International Photography Meetings Residency

The Rencontres de la jeune photographie internationale residency takes place in Niort, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (France). Niort is located at the gateway to the Marais Poitevin near the Atlantic coast between Nantes and Bordeaux.

Every year, the creative residency welcomes international and emerging photographers with a wide variety of approaches, selected based on their application. This year, they will be accompanied throughout their stay by Grégoire Eloy , photographer from the Tendance Floue collective .

They receive technical support from the team at Villa Pérochon – a contemporary photographic art center managed by the Pour l'Instant association. A technical center, equipped with professional equipment including a black and white film lab and a digital workshop, is reserved for them. Thus surrounded, the photographers are invited to create and experiment. It is a real carte blanche offered, stimulated by meetings, exchanges and the sharing of experiences through the very different backgrounds of each participant. It is a unique artistic experience!
