Being a female photographer in a largely male-dominated field is hard enough, but to do so while surrounded by a national crisis that puts you and your loved ones at risk shows a great level of strength and resilience. The women who are still producing images in such circumstances deserve to have their work seen by everyone. To reward their courage, we seek to create a safe space and provide an opportunity to exhibit the work of female photographers who, due to their living conditions, face great challenges in exhibiting their art.

We firmly believe that photographs, in their artistic and documentary function, in this case representing the countries of the photographers, establish a deep dialogue between the public and the reality of the social crises underway throughout the world.

These works allow to bear witness to the events while creating an empathetic and conscious connection with the viewer. Photography proves to be a means of empowerment and a professional field accessible to all, offering photographers a platform to express themselves, make themselves known and inspire others to follow their path.
