About:
Since the birth of the Ateneo Municipal de Santa Lucía de Tirajana, the root of the project and the cultural activity of our municipality throughout almost four decades, Photography has played an important role, both in the configuration of our collective memory, and in the educational and artistic offer of our community. Proof of this is the announcement of this XXX B/W Analog Photography Contest and the XV Digital Photography Contest, with special prizes such as the Víctor Jara, whose objective is to promote the practice of this art in the field of solidarity, and the Nono Castro Award, with which we intend to continue the legacy of whoever was responsible for establishing the Photography Workshop in our municipality, training many generations of amateurs and professionals.
