Forests and wood are as important to the cultural landscape in the Salzkammergut as the salt and the lakes. For the Salzkammergut Capital of Culture 2024, the woodpassage and Temporal Forest projects focus on wood, forests and their importance for the Salzkammergut and for Europe.
A photo competition will be held together with the Prague Photo School for the two projects as part of the Salzkammergut Capital of Culture 2024. The best submitted pictures will be shown in an exhibition from October to November in the Papermaker Museum in Laakirchen and in various other media.
