18th PHOTOLAR 2026 Sail is the eighteenth edition of a photography contest rooted in the cultural heart of Galicia, Spain. Organized by Gráficas LAR, this annual event invites photographers from around the globe to explore the theme of “Sail.” The winning selection will grace the pages of the 2027 Photolar Calendar, a high-quality product created as part of a long-standing tradition and distributed among the printing company’s customers and community.

The contest requires participants to submit twelve landscape-format, color photographs — one for each month of the year — related to sailing and everything that floats and can be driven. The winner receives a €400 cash prize and will see their name prominently featured throughout the 2027 Gráficas LAR calendar. The 18th PHOTOLAR stands out for its community-focused approach and artist-first philosophy, offering a chance for visual storytellers to gain tangible exposure through a professionally printed calendar.
