FREE ENTRY / PhEST Pop-Up Open Call 2025

PhEST, the international photography and art festival in Monopoli, Italy, launches the fifth edition of the international contest, on the theme of the 2025 edition of the festival: THIS IS US - A CAPSULE TO SPACE. 

Together with LensCulture and PhMuseum and with the support of Fujifilm Italia and San Marzano Vini, we have organized a pop-up open call, free and fast, open to everyone but for two weeks only: from May 12 to 25, 2025.

After a 2024 edition dedicated to dreams, the 2025 edition of PhEST, in line with the central theme of the festival, invites artists and photographers to investigate the relationship with time, memory and the future, to imagine what humanity should send into space as a testimony of its existence.

We are looking for intense, intimate and profound projects, capable of telling our present with an eye to the future. We accept any visual language: photography, illustration, collage, animation, video.
