FREE ENTRY / Periscope Open Call Exhibition

Periscope is an initiative to realize projects of young contemporary art. As is well known, a periscope is the periscope of submarines that allows a panoramic view of the world above. The name stands for putting out feelers, approaching the environment with an open mind and making contacts. periscope exists as a non-profit organization with an association structure. The initiative is supported by committed friends and interested contemporaries on a voluntary basis.

The focus is

* a spatial concept with the principle of transformation and change,

in which model solutions for artistic manners are sought and  young emerging artistic positions become visible,

* the discourse of current art-specific and interdisciplinary topics,

* a network between artists, theorists, art enthusiasts and friends

* the idea of ​​combining sophisticated content and low-threshold forms of communication.

It is important to us to help create an atmosphere that is characterized by openness, interest and enthusiasm for discourse, particularly with regard to young contemporary art. With our activities, we want to contribute to a colorful spectrum of culture and events.
