Collective identity is the perception that each individual has of themselves in relationship with the other. Belonging to a group, be it a family, association, nation, ethnicity, religion or any other gathering establishes the collective through which someone can recognize  their own identity.

The more society becomes globalized and decontextualized, with individuals losing their compass and certainties the more the concept of identity becomes complex and blurred.

The personal identity is built on the fundamental need to strengthen  our own self-worth  and to be recognized by others, through a complex process of identification from ourselves  and the other.

Does a collective identity exist today? How and where can we  find it?

The candidate is called to answer  this question through visual language and the preferred technique.
