FREE ENTRY / Lucky Star Magazine Issue 4 - Time Passing

The Issue 4 open call is here! And it’s all about TIME. Time is one of the most important contributions to the making of a photograph; physically, visually, and conceptually. A photograph is a still of time captured, but what can this time say? 

Questions to consider in the making/submission of your work:

How can an image reveal the time in which it was taken? What can it say about this time? What is the historical context? How can an image/series of images show how time has passed, what is present, and whats to come in the future? What is the feeling around this? What is the importance of time in the moment a photograph is made?  How can time be represented physically or conceptually?  What story are you telling with this work? What is the importance of this story? Does the process of how the work was made inform it at all? 

NOT ALL ARTISTS/ARTWORK SUBMITTED WILL BE ACCEPTED At least 3 images are required to submit. Artists whose work is accepted will be contacted through email within a week after the deadline. Submissions from artists featured in any of the previous issues will be considered last.
