FREE ENTRY / Leica Camera - Scholarship at ICP

The Leica Scholarship aims to elevate and supports underrepresented voices in photography by providing opportunities and resources to increase their visibility and impact within the photography community.

This scholarship will be awarded to one applicant of extraordinary achievement based on recommendations of a committee determined by the ICP and Leica. The award will be presented at the beginning of the program year.

The scholarship includes:

A total award covering tuition and school fees for ICP’s One-Year Certificate Program in Creative Practices or Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism for the 2025–2026 academic year.

A Leica camera system on loan for the duration of the program, under a Leica–Scholarship Recipient Loan Agreement.

An exhibition at the Leica Store, Meatpacking at the end of the program year.

All considered applicants will be asked to conduct a Zoom interview with the internal review panel. The final recipient will be announced in a joint press release by ICP and Leica upon acceptance.
