FREE ENTRY / Gaze Magazine - “New Eye” Call for Entries

The program is open to all, regardless of age, career advancement, or photographic genre. The “promotion” will consist of a group of five photographers, chosen for the diversity and complementarity of their perspectives. Each month, the group will be supervised by the Gaze team to advance each individual project; meetings with external mentors will also be organized to allow the mentees to enrich their knowledge of the photography ecosystem. Since the practice of photography is very solitary, it was important for the  Gaze team  to imagine a framework conducive to sisterhood and allow for both vertical and horizontal transmission. At the end of the 10 months, the work will be presented in a limited edition book and presented at an event at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris.

Applications are open from April 15th to May 22nd, using the form below. All women and non-binary people, professional photographers or those in the process of becoming professional photographers, of legal age, and French-speaking, with an ongoing creative project that has not been published, and who can make themselves available one day per month in Paris for the duration of the program, are eligible to apply. Results will be made public in June 2025; the mentoring year will begin in September 2025 and end in June 2026.
