Even in our lifetime, the world has changed dramatically. Technology has impacted the way we consume goods, how we see the future and most importantly, how we view the past. Around the world, stories passed from generation to generation are being forgotten as storytelling is becoming a lost art. Buildings are standing vacant and are falling into the landscape surrounding them. At the same time, people are obsessed with returning to the past. Carrying the torch of “Retro Nostalgia”, fashion from yesteryear is making an abrupt and sometimes unwelcome comeback. Create an original visual story celebrating the past, its people, its fashion, its architecture, and other forms of culture. Or conversely, create a story showing why, perhaps, the past is better left in the past.
