About:

After previous experiences that sparked the curiosity of FormicaLab and the various authors and intellectuals involved in the project, and after exploring together the contemporary landscapes of Italy and Europe in search of alternative perspectives and stories, it's now time to turn our gaze homeward. Especially towards ourselves.

Following the same path as the best "glocal" tradition, thinking globally to act locally, which has quickly allowed the festival's cultural proposal to solidify in the Cuneo plateau area, amidst a dense network of collaborations between associations and local administration, this edition of | PAESAGGI | So close will focus on the small, intimate landscape, just within reach of our eyes.

A landscape of the everyday, inspired by personal perceptions and the individual horizons of events, privately chosen by authors engaged in their personal narratives of what surrounds them, represents them, and reflects them. An intimate journey, therefore. One that we want to share because it's bound together by a common thread that can - and wants to - unite the autobiographical with the documentary.

Whether it's one's own home, neighborhood, a playground, or a hidden part of one's city, | PAESAGGI | So close aims to offer a vision of the landscape as a transitional experience. With a non-canonical dynamism that materializes only along a well-defined path, projecting the audience from within towards the outside.

A collection of many small stories of personal, unknown landscapes, ready to be shared, capable of composing a choral fresco resonating with the audience, simply because everyone has a place in their blood that no one knows about.
