FILMADRID International Film Festival is a festival that promotes and exhibits auteur cinema, proposing a space for dialogue on contemporary cinema and its aesthetic and formal approaches.

FILMADRID 2026 will take place in Madrid, Spain, from June 9 to 14.
Competitive category
– Official Section : competitive section for fiction and non-fiction films from all over the world. There is no length limit for the films.
General conditions for application and registration
– Registrations to participate in FILMADRID are open for works whose international premiere was after January 1, 2025.
– Works participating in the Official Section must be unpublished in Spanish territory, and must not have been previously exhibited in public theaters, television, or distributed on Blu-ray/DVD in Spanish territory or on the internet.
