FREE ENTRY / Eloi Gimeno Award - 4th Edition Open Call

We are pleased to announce the fourth edition of the Eloi Gimeno Award for Best Photobook, a joint initiative by ArtsLibris, Fundació Foto Colectania, the Asociación Amigos+Eloi, and the Fondo Eloi Gimeno

This award was created to honour the legacy of designer and editor Eloi Gimeno, whose career left a deep mark on the world of photobooks and contemporary photography. His work was defined by self-publishing, exquisite design, aesthetic risk-taking, and a strong commitment to collective creation processes. In 2010, he published the photobook Hellsinki, a self-published work that received two Laus awards and was voted by Photo-eye as one of the best books of that year.

This prize aims to recognise editorial proposals that share that free, bold, and generous spirit. Photobooks that embrace experimentation, push the boundaries of the format, and treat the book as a space for visual thinking, innovative design, and unique narrative will be especially valued.
