Through indicates something that penetrates inside, such as a pair of eyes. Photography digs deep, whether it is the soul or a place, an event or a story, it is not afraid to sink the sharp blade of its light to find flashes of reality. Looking through also means spying through a keyhole on something forbidden and mysterious, using a lens to visually reach every detail, the texture of a fabric to observe shadows and indefinite profiles or an x-ray instrument to see what things hide inside. “Through” also recalls a movement in space, an intersection and a meeting point while the Latin adverb “Versus” marks the opposition between two elements.
