This competition aims to reclaim the figure and work of photographer Manuel Ferrol, representative of an entire era of Galician culture, drawing inspiration from his work.Manuel Ferrol is "The photographer of emigration"  and one of the best and most important Spanish and international photographers of the 19th century (manuelferrol.com).

The theme of this competition will be portraiture, reportage and tradition.
