Open Call for Group Exhibition “Beyond the Horizon: Imagining the Unreachable”

CONTEST GUIDELINES 9 photographs will be selected for an exhibition that will take place at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade room 147, like part of Бартcелона pop up 147, located in the city of Belgrade, Serbia, from 21tn July to the 27th of August 2025.

All photographers, amateurs and professionals who are over 18, are eligible to participate to the contest.

RULES Theme: Photographic “Beyond the Horizon: Imagining the Unreachable”. Commemorating the Moon Landing – 20 July 1969. On 20 July 1969, humankind first set foot on the Moon. More than a scientific milestone, the event became a global symbol of collective ambition, imagination, and the desire to go beyond what was thought possible.

This open call invites photographers to reflect on the symbolic legacy of the moon landing—not just as a historical moment, but as a metaphor for longing, risk, isolation, discovery, and the unknown.

We are seeking works that interpret this spirit in both direct and poetic ways. This could include: • Exploration & ambition – journeys (inner or outer), dreams, limits pushed. • Solitude & space – vast landscapes, emotional distance, the unknown. • Fiction & fantasy – science fiction, surrealism, invented realities. • Looking up – the act of wonder, skywatching, aspiration, cosmic thinking. • The unreachable – what lies just beyond grasp: in love, identity, freedom, or time.

Latest day to receive proposal is 1st July 2025 23,50h local time Every participant can apply with max 4 photographs. Selected Artists will be announced on 6th July 2025

All photographs chosen for the photography exhibition at Radisson Collection Hotel will be framed free of charge. Only the selected 9 photographs selected will pay a fee of 40 Eur for printing cost. The payment has to be made through PayPal or Bank Transfer to EU account.
