Open Call for Group Exhibition “Memory and Oblivion — Black & White Perspectives”
ORGANISERS Бартcелона pop up, and Radisson Collection Old Mill Hotel.
CONTEST GUIDELINES A total of 9 photographs will be selected for an exhibition to be held at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade – Room 147, as part of the Бартcелона Pop Up 147 programme. The exhibition will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, from 21st September to 31st October 2025. The contest is open to all photographers, both amateur and professional, who are 18 years of age or older, regardless of nationality or country of residence.
RULES “Memory and Oblivion — Black & White Perspectives” To mark World Alzheimer’s Day (21 September), we are launching an open call for a black and white photography exhibition that explores themes of memory, forgetting, identity, and time. The exhibition will be held at our pop-up gallery in [City] in September 2025. We invite photographers from around the world to submit works that reflect on the fragility of memory, the erosion of identity, and the traces left behind by time and loss. Whether through personal stories, conceptual approaches, documentary perspectives, or poetic imagery, this exhibition aims to open a visual dialogue on what it means to remember — and to forget. Black and white photography photos, works that engage with the concepts of memory, oblivion, ageing, identity, absence, or time. Personal, collective, or symbolic approaches, both documentary and artistic styles are welcome.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE The final deadline for submitting proposals is 7th September 2025 at 23:50 (local time, Belgrade). Each participant may submit a maximum of 4 photographs. Selected artists will be notified by email on 12th September 2025.
