Chicago Photography Classes - In Motion

As photographer Eadweard Muybridge once said, “Only photography has been able to divide human life into a series of moments, each of them has the value of a complete existence.” This exhibition encourages a variety of photographic techniques to illustrate motion. Whether it’s freezing a moment in time with high shutter speeds, creating a sense of speed and urgency through motion blur, or experimenting with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) to produce abstract and dynamic compositions, we are eager to see your interpretation of “In Motion.”

We invite photographers to submit their work for an upcoming group exhibition exploring the theme “In Motion.” This exhibition seeks to capture the essence of movement in its various forms, be it physical, emotional, or conceptual. We are looking for dynamic images that convey a sense of energy, change, and momentum.
